Manager Accounting - ITAA Certified

About the role

The Manager Accounting – ITAA Certified will lead technical oversight of accounting deliverables for a portfolio of SPVs and alternative investment funds. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards, internal procedures, and client‑specific requirements while supporting clients throughout reporting cycles and complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as technical reviewer for bookkeeping, annual financial statements, management and regulatory reporting, BCL reports, and CIT/VAT returns.
• Identify technical risks, inconsistencies, or errors and drive remediation.
• Manage a portfolio of fund structures, providing technical reference and supporting closing processes, audits, and liquidation cases.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to Accounting and GCD teams through on‑the‑job coaching, trainings, and written documentation.
• Collaborate with Corporate Secretarial, Tax, auditors, tax advisers, law firms, and banks to ensure consistent client delivery.
• Ensure correct use of internal tools such as Navigator WF, Navigator Doc, and QICS, and verify adherence to internal procedures.

Required profile

• Strong experience in fund accounting, particularly for SPVs and alternative investment funds in Belgium or Luxembourg.
• In‑depth knowledge of applicable accounting standards (BeGAAP, Lux GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP).
• Ability to assess technical risks and implement corrective actions.
• Proven capability to support clients during reporting, tax, audit, and liquidation processes.

Required skills

• Bookkeeping and preparation of annual financial statements.
• Management and regulatory reporting, including BCL reports.
• CIT and VAT return preparation and tax calculations.
• Proficiency with internal systems: Navigator WF, Navigator Doc, QICS.
