Management Controller

About the role

JOST Group, a family-owned logistics group founded in 1958, is looking for a Management Controller for immediate employment at its headquarters in Weiswampach (Luxembourg). You will work within a four-person team, combining analysis, reporting and operational involvement. The position is offered under Luxembourg labor law.

Key responsibilities

• Track and analyse monthly the financial performance of various group companies, ensuring data reliability
• Identify optimization opportunities and propose concrete recommendations
• Monitor operational results (KPIs), assess existing monitoring tools and implement new ones
• Act as a strategic partner to business unit managers and report results to management (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual analyses, economic and financial studies)
• Contribute to harmonizing accounting and financial procedures across the group
• Carry out ad hoc analyses and contribute to cross-functional projects
• Implement management accounting (cost accounting), coordinate with Accounting on cost allocations and ensure the quality of analytical data
• Monitor and control costs by service line (transport, logistics, real estate, garage, fueling stations) and fixed and variable costs
• Update performance dashboards (productivity indicators, operating ratios, unit costs) and perform variance and margin analysis

Required profile

• Master's degree in finance, management, audit or accounting
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role or in auditing, preferably in the industrial sector
• Excellent command of English and French; German and/or Dutch is an asset
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills, with autonomy, organization and proactivity

Required skills

• Excellent command of Excel
• Knowledge of a reporting tool (Qlik Sense) and/or ODOO is a plus
