Legal Intern – 3 to 6 Month Internship Starting Jan 2027

About the role

Ashurst Perkins Coie is offering a legal internship of three to six months, beginning in January 2027. The position is designed for students pursuing a Master’s degree in law, an LL.M., or preparing for the French Bar exam, who wish to gain hands‑on experience in a leading international law firm.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on a variety of client matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts and memoranda.
• Support lawyers daily with case preparation and client interactions.
• Contribute to knowledge‑management initiatives and share insights with the team.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in law, an LL.M., or preparing for the French Bar exam (stage PPI).
• A specialized Master’s or a business management degree (e.g., HEC, ESCP, IEP, ESSEC) is a plus.
• Previous internship experience in a law firm is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Fluency in English and French (mandatory).
• German and/or Luxembourgish language skills are advantageous.
• Strong legal analysis, proactive commercial mindset, and excellent written communication.
