Legal & Compliance Officer

About the role

Klarphos is seeking a Legal & Compliance Officer to join its Luxembourg‑based AIFM on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work in a hybrid setting, supporting the development of the in‑house legal and compliance function while handling a variety of regulatory and AML/CFT tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform compliance controls on the AIFM activity according to the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
• Monitor and update internal policies and procedures.
• Conduct initial and ongoing due diligence and support AML/CFT onboarding of new funds and investments.
• Review and update fund legal documents, agreements, resolutions and marketing communications.
• Assist in the preparation of external regulatory reporting and internal compliance reports.
• Monitor legal developments and assess the impact of new laws and regulations on the AIFM and its funds.
• Provide legal and regulatory advice for company‑wide projects.

Required profile

• Degree in law, business law or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in a fund manager (ManCo/AIFM) or Big‑4 consulting environment.
• Analytical, well‑organized and able to work independently.
• Keen interest in Luxembourg fund‑management regulatory landscape.
• Very good written and spoken English; German is a plus.
