Junior Payroll and HR Operations Officer

About the role

BDO Luxembourg is seeking a motivated Junior Payroll and HR Operations Officer to join its diverse team. You will support the monthly payroll cycle, ensure accurate salary calculations, and provide essential HR administrative assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the monthly payroll process, verifying accuracy and integrity of salary calculations.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll matters.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee records, track absences and illnesses, and manage registrations and declarations with authorities.
• Assist with the administration of employee benefits and provide general HR support.

Required profile

• Degree (BTS, DUT, Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Human Resources, Management or a related field.
• First experience in payroll is an asset.
• Good knowledge of salary calculation, labour law, social security and payroll tax.
• Rigorous, analytical, comfortable with numbers and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit and customer‑service orientation.
• Fluent in French and English; German or Luxembourgish are a plus.

Required skills

• PayEase payroll software (experience considered an asset).
