Junior Legal Advisor

About the role

The Junior Legal Advisor will support NTT DATA’s business units by providing standard legal advice on routine engagements and transactions. This role is ideal for a recent law graduate or early‑career lawyer looking to develop expertise in a global technology services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide standard legal support to business and operations teams.
• Offer basic legal advice on vanilla engagements and transactions.
• Assist with policy implementation and dissemination of regulatory information within the assigned unit.
• Support other Legal Counsels as needed.
• Prepare regular status reports on legal issues using prescribed templates.
• Perform additional legal work as assigned by senior advisors or management.

Required profile

• Legal qualification (Bachelor’s degree in Law) with some practice experience.
• Ability to review and advise on simple agreements or specific legal disciplines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Comfort working under pressure and managing urgent tasks simultaneously.
• Moderate experience in a similar role within a global organization.
• Demonstrated success in delivering sound legal advice and support.
