Junior Data Engineer

About the role

Join our Artificial Intelligence & Data (AI&D) team, dedicated to turning data into actionable insights for major financial institutions, public entities, and global organisations. As a Junior Data Engineer you will work closely with clients to solve critical data challenges and apply cutting‑edge technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Support data management, engineering, science and analytics activities to ensure smooth operation of client data platforms.
• Participate in design, testing, implementation and integration of data and AI solutions under technical, business and time constraints.
• Maintain stability, availability and performance of client environments across a range of data technologies.
• Gather raw data, build visualisations and dashboards, and deliver high‑quality technical documentation.
• Research and explore new data technologies to continuously improve solutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics or Computer Science.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and client‑focused attitude.
• Ability to act as a liaison between IT and business units and support functional analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Data management concepts: master data, metadata standards, data warehouses (DWH), data lakes, ETL.
• Real‑time ETL processes.
• RDBMS experience: SQL Server, Oracle.
• NoSQL experience: MongoDB.
• Programming for data science: Python or R, including classification and deep‑learning models.
