IoT Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IoT Engineer to serve as a key point of contact for user requests, incidents and questions related to on‑board computer (OBC) components such as telecom, hardware, MDM and applications. The role combines technical support, escalation management and participation in R&D projects to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for administrative users and drivers regarding OBC components (telecom, hardware, MDM, applications).
• Assess and prioritize incidents, determine appropriate escalation paths, and set priorities.
• Document and formalize resolution procedures so Level 1 support can handle recurring issues.
• Escalate unresolved problems to Level 3, track progress, and coordinate with internal teams or external partners.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation.
• Participate in and manage technical evolutions, projects, and R&D initiatives.
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts with external suppliers to evaluate new IoT solutions.
• Resolve escalated issues in the IoT domain and log all updates in the ticketing system.
• Provide training to end‑users on relevant tools and processes.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or Industrial Engineering.
• Pragmatic, analytical and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Team player capable of collaborating with external providers and communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Curious, creative, autonomous and dynamic.
• Proactive driver for change and continuous improvement.
