IoT Engineer

About the role

The IoT Engineer will act as a primary contact for user requests, incidents, and questions related to onboard computer (OBC) components, including telecom, hardware, MDM, and applications. The role focuses on troubleshooting, escalation, and continuous improvement of support processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for administrative users and drivers, handling incidents and queries.
• Determine escalation paths, set priorities, and ensure timely resolution.
• Document resolution procedures to enable Level 1 support to handle recurring issues.
• Escalate unresolved problems to Level 3, track progress, and coordinate with internal teams or external partners.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and support ticket records.
• Participate in technical projects, R&D initiatives, and proof‑of‑concept activities with external suppliers.
• Provide training to end users as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or Industrial Engineering.
• Analytical, pragmatic, and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Team player capable of collaborating with external providers and communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Curious, autonomous, and proactive in driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.
