PHP Developer

About the role

DNXCorp SE is a European specialist in online entertainment services, handling high‑traffic websites and payment solutions. The PHP Developer will work on improving and extending internal applications while ensuring security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and adapt or improve existing applications.
• Write maintainable, scalable and robust PHP code.
• Collaborate with other development teams on cross‑application projects.
• Ensure security of deliverables and stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats.
• Own new and existing platform features and integrate external systems such as online payment solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong autonomous debugging skills and ability to consult documentation.
• Fluent English communication.

Required skills

• PHP (expert level)
• Object‑oriented programming and common design patterns
• Complex SQL query writing and optimisation (MongoDB knowledge a plus)
• Symfony (versions 1/2) and ORM usage
• Git or other distributed version control systems
• JavaScript for rich web interfaces
• Integration of payment and antifraud solutions
