IoT Engineer

About the role

The IoT Engineer will serve as a primary point of contact for user requests, incidents, and questions related to On‑Board Computer (OBC) components such as telecom, hardware, MDM and applications. You will work closely with administrative users, drivers, and external partners to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement of IoT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle user requests, incidents, and questions, focusing on OBC components (telecom, hardware, MDM, applications).
• Determine escalation paths, set priorities, and raise unresolved issues to Level 3 while tracking their resolution.
• Formalize resolution procedures to empower the Level 1 support team.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and log all ticket updates in the ticketing system.
• Participate in technical evolutions, projects, and R&D initiatives, including proof‑of‑concept work with external suppliers.
• Provide training to users and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in IT or Industrial Engineering.
• Analytical, pragmatic, and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Team player capable of collaborating with external providers and communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Curious, creative, autonomous, and dynamic.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with IoT, M2M and OBC technologies.
• Programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript and SQL.
• Understanding of telecom and Mobile Device Management (MDM) concepts.
