Investment Funds Lawyer

About the role

Linklaters LLP is expanding its Investment Funds Practice and seeks a qualified lawyer to join the team in Luxembourg. You will work on a variety of fund structures, advising international clients on regulatory and transactional matters.

Key responsibilities

• Take client instructions and provide tailored legal advice on investment funds.
• Draft and review fund documentation, using precedents where appropriate.
• Conduct research, due diligence and manage information throughout transactions.
• Negotiate and communicate on behalf of clients, leading negotiations when required.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high‑quality service.
• Stay informed of industry developments and contribute to business development activities.

Required profile

• European qualified lawyer with 2‑4 years of experience in investment funds law and strong academic record.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French; German or Luxembourgish is an asset.
• Excellent technical, drafting and legal analysis skills, with the ability to synthesize regulatory developments.
• Strong organisational, project‑management and communication abilities, able to work effectively in a cross‑border team.
• Innovative, proactive, commercially minded and a team player.
