Information Technology Project Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading bank in Luxembourg, is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex technical projects across infrastructure, cloud, systems and cybersecurity. The role will involve coordinating internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely delivery, regulatory compliance and robust IT governance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end technical projects covering infrastructure, networks, systems, cloud services and cybersecurity within a banking environment.
• Lead technology transformation and platform improvement initiatives that support critical business operations.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and third‑party vendors to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, risks and technical outputs, ensuring alignment with IT governance, security and regulatory requirements.
• Review and challenge technical solutions, identify risks and propose enhancements.
• Prepare status reports and present updates to senior management and governance committees.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing technical IT infrastructure projects in the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networks, systems, cloud and cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated vendor and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Understanding of IT governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, communication and reporting skills.
