HR Business Partner – Luxembourg (Regional Coverage: APAC & North America)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position is for an experienced HR Business Partner who will support a regulated financial services group across three continents – Luxembourg, APAC and North America. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will act as the trusted people partner for leaders and employees, ensuring HR practices align with local employment law and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HRBP for business units in Luxembourg, APAC and North America, tailoring advice to each jurisdiction’s legal and cultural context.
• Manage end‑to‑end employee‑relations cases, from informal coaching to formal investigations, disciplinaries and grievances.
• Advise on financial‑services‑specific regulatory compliance such as remuneration codes, fitness & propriety, and conduct rules.
• Support managers of distributed teams with guidance on fair and consistent remote‑work practices.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance and local advisors to resolve cross‑border HR issues.
• Contribute to HR projects and policy development that span multiple territories.

Required profile

• Proven HR Business Partner experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• Fluent French (spoken and written) – essential.
• Strong hands‑on employee‑relations expertise, including complex casework.
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting HR in financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to support multiple jurisdictions simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management skills and the confidence to work autonomously across time zones.

Required skills
