HR Business Partner – Luxembourg

About the role

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) joins ING Luxembourg’s Human Resources organisation to help deliver the bank’s purpose. Working closely with business leaders, the HRBP shapes and implements the people agenda, enhancing leadership capabilities and driving strategic people decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop leadership capabilities and support people development within the assigned business line.
• Coach leaders to improve employee engagement and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Act as a change agent, applying organization design expertise during transformations.
• Partner with business leaders on workforce planning and strategic organization reviews.
• Lead annual people processes, including performance reviews, compensation cycles, succession planning and talent assessments.
• Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives and act as an ambassador for the D&I strategy.
• Collaborate with HR Centres of Expertise to implement global people solutions and provide feedback on business needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of relevant HR experience.
• Proven track record of managing and implementing change initiatives.
• Strong communication, advisory and influencing skills with the ability to gain stakeholder buy‑in.
• Solid business acumen and ability to adapt quickly to the financial services environment.
• Strategic mindset with the capability to translate people strategy into business performance.
• Good understanding of data analysis and reporting to support the people agenda.
• Curious and proactive attitude.
