Head of People & HR Development (German & French)

About the role

You will lead HR development for an established Luxembourg group, working closely with senior management and business leaders across multiple teams. The role offers the autonomy to design and implement learning, leadership and talent programs that have a measurable impact on the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a group‑wide people development roadmap covering learning, leadership and talent growth.
• Lead and grow a team responsible for HR development, talent acquisition and people projects.
• Translate business priorities into workforce planning, succession planning and development initiatives.
• Design practical learning formats, leadership programmes and internal career paths.
• Integrate recruitment, onboarding, internal mobility and retention into a coherent talent strategy.
• Act as a strategic sparring partner to senior management on people‑related topics.
• Use HR data, feedback and business input to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 10+ years of HR experience, including several years in a leadership role.
• Background in HR development, learning & development, talent management or recruitment strategy.
• Proven experience building or improving leadership programmes, learning journeys, succession plans or talent processes.
• Knowledge of Luxembourg labour law, wage tax or social security is a plus.
• Fluency in German and French; English or Luxembourgish is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with management, operational leaders and HR experts.
