Head of Issuance – Digital Operations Leader

About the role

Deutsche Börse Group’s Clearstream division is looking for a visionary leader to head the Issuance Section. The role drives digital transformation of global issuance operations, ensuring data‑driven processes and maintaining Clearstream’s position at the forefront of securities services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams in Luxembourg, Eschborn/Frankfurt and the Prague Delivery Hub.
• Drive the transformation of issuance operations toward automation and data‑centric workflows.
• Own governance, KPI monitoring and quality assurance for the Prague Delivery Hub.
• Hold overall accountability for day‑to‑day issuance activities across CEU (Issuer CSD, Investor CSD, and co‑issuance).
• Represent issuance in senior management forums and ensure regulatory and compliance adherence.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in post‑trade services, custody or financial market infrastructure.
• Proven people‑management and networking capabilities.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational plans.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of working under high pressure.

Required skills

• Excellent written and spoken English (French and German are a plus).
