Head of Investment Management Luxembourg

About the role

Mirabaud, a family-owned bank with over 750 employees in 8 countries, is looking for a Head of Investment Management for its Wealth Management business line in Luxembourg. The post leads Portfolio Management and Investment Advisory in Luxembourg, drives the commercial development of investment mandates and acts as the main link between Luxembourg and the Group's European investment teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Portfolio Management and Investment Advisory in Luxembourg and drive the commercial development of investment mandates, increasing penetration across the client base.
• Serve as a senior Investment Advisor giving tailored advice to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients and support relationship managers.
• Liaise between Luxembourg and the Group's European investment teams and represent European clients' needs to the Geneva-based investment and product teams.
• Promote funds, club deals and private equity solutions in Europe and act as a sponsor in the New Product Committee.
• Ensure strict adherence to investment guidelines, risk framework and regulatory standards, and work with Compliance, Risk and Investment Oversight.
• Drive the digital evolution of investment processes and promote advanced portfolio management tools, data analytics and automation.

Required profile

• Master's degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in investment management, wealth management or private banking.
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary investment teams.
• Strong understanding of discretionary portfolio management, advisory processes and financial markets.
• Fluent in English and French; Spanish is a strong asset.
• Based in Luxembourg, with regular travel to Paris, London, Madrid and Geneva.
