Senior Consultant - Indirect Tax

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Consultant in Indirect Tax for its Luxembourg Indirect Tax group. You will provide indirect tax expertise to multinational corporations, offering a multidisciplinary approach and demonstrating both breadth of experience and deep understanding of indirect tax concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Advise multinational companies on indirect tax aspects of cross-border projects, including implementation of innovative schemes, expansion into new countries, mergers and acquisitions, and global contracts.
• Work on indirect tax issues in financial services, especially outsourcing and cross-border services in asset management and banking.
• Gain experience in property financing transactions, major real estate acquisitions and disposals, indirect tax due diligence and indirect tax reviews in statutory audits.
• Support multinational companies with their indirect tax reporting obligations and day-to-day operational issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Tax Law, Accounting or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in Indirect Tax, ideally on the Luxembourgish market.
• Fluency in English; French and/or German is an asset.
• Proven ability to build trusted business relationships, with organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and collaborate with team members depending on project size and needs.
