Audit Manager - Wealth & Asset Management

About the role

EY is looking for an Audit Manager with strong expertise in IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP to join its Assurance team focused on the investment fund industry. You will lead audit engagements, manage client relationships and help develop junior team members while delivering high-quality assurance on complex financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform annual financial statement audits under Lux GAAP and IFRS.
• Lead, coordinate and develop a team of assistants, and help coordinate the work of junior colleagues.
• Build and maintain relationships with client personnel and assess client satisfaction.
• Apply complex accounting and auditing concepts to real client situations and coordinate on-site fieldwork.
• Translate audit strategy into procedures and use EY's Global Audit Methodology to meet auditing standards.
• Contribute to processes, solutions and projects, and meet local performance objectives such as client service, quality, risk management, sales and business growth.
• Anticipate risk, support account strategy and higher-risk audit procedures, and focus on audit quality, data and technology use and client trust.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration with a focus on Audit, Accounting or Controlling; ACCA, CPA or similar certification is a plus.
• At least 6 years of audit experience; Big 4 experience is an asset.
• Experience in financial reporting and investment funds.
• Fluent English; German and/or French is a strong advantage, other languages a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
