Customized Portfolio Manager

About the role

ING Luxembourg is looking for a Customized Portfolio Manager to join its Portfolio Management team. You will manage discretionary portfolios and dedicated funds in line with clients' needs, the investment strategy and regulatory requirements, working closely with investment specialists, commercial teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage discretionary portfolios and dedicated funds in full regulatory compliance, including MiFID II compliance for discretionary accounts
• Monitor discretionary accounts and dedicated funds, ensuring compliance with investment rules, the investment universe, client profiles and investment decisions
• Develop investment solutions and portfolio strategies, including drafting proposals for discretionary mandates and contributing to model portfolios
• Contribute to sourcing new investment ideas and cross-asset solutions, and participate in investment committees
• Provide ad hoc and recurring reporting to clients and support the commercial force through presentations, training and expertise on asset allocation and multi-asset solutions

Required profile

• Master's degree with 5 to 7 years of experience in discretionary portfolio management (bank mandates, life insurance or dedicated UCITS/AIF funds)
• Fluent French and English; knowledge of Dutch, German and/or Luxembourgish is an asset
• CFA designation is an asset
• Team spirit, autonomy and a proactive mindset

Required skills

• Strong multi-asset knowledge and a solid understanding of macroeconomics
• Strong communication skills, able to simplify complex investment topics and support commercial teams
