Group Controller

About the role

The Group Controller will steer financial performance and support executive decision‑making across the Group, with a strong focus on the Luxembourg industrial perimeter. The role combines deep industrial controlling expertise, leadership of senior finance professionals, and advanced SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual Group budgeting process, define guidelines, coordinate with subsidiaries, consolidate data and ensure quality.
• Coordinate monthly Group financial reporting, perform actual‑vs‑budget analysis and drive business reviews for Luxembourg entities.
• Oversee industrial costing, standard and actual costing, production variance analysis and plant controlling in SAP S/4.
• Partner with Sales on pricing, margin calculations and profitability analysis for industrial goods.
• Manage inventory accounting, valuation, slow‑moving stock analysis and SKU master data governance in SAP FI/CO.
• Coach and develop a controlling team of 4‑5 members, promote best practices across subsidiaries and maintain strong relationships with plant and finance managers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in industrial controlling and financial reporting.
• Proven leadership of senior finance teams and ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, especially FI/CO modules and rollout projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, cost accounting, inventory valuation and performance analysis.
