About the role

The Railway Fleet Manager will steer and optimise the LPL wagon fleet to guarantee the availability of rolling stock required for logistics activities, improve asset rotation and contribute to overall supply‑chain performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct the annual fleet sizing review based on budgeted needs.
• Analyse fleet performance and propose adjustments to optimise utilisation and associated costs.
• Monitor daily position, availability, condition and rotation of wagons.
• Ensure the required wagons are available for the transport programme.
• Identify and address anomalies affecting rail flows such as delays, client retentions, damages, infrastructure restrictions or fleet imbalances.
• Coordinate repositioning, parking, unparking and re‑commissioning of wagons.
• Guide actions with rail carriers, production sites, Order Managers and planning teams.

Required profile

• Good understanding of industrial, logistics and rail flows.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Rigorous, autonomous and reactive working style.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Professional level of English.
