Funds Lawyer – Luxembourg

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Funds Lawyer to join a fast‑growing Management and AIFM business in Luxembourg. You will work within a global legal team, providing expert advice on fund launch documentation and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal reviews of fund launch documentation.
• Advise the Luxembourg operation on Management Company and AIFM legal and regulatory issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate a range of agreements, including management, investment, prospectus, trust deeds, administration, custody, distribution and dealing agreements.
• Provide counsel to directors and senior staff.
• Liaise with external legal advisers as required.
• Support business development, client services and sales teams.
• Undertake ad‑hoc projects as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 4–6 years of experience in the funds industry.
• Strong knowledge of laws and regulations affecting financial services and investment management, preferably including UCITS and AIFMD.
• Familiarity with a variety of fund product types and asset classes.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
