Funds Lawyer – Luxembourg

About the role

Carne Group is seeking an experienced Funds Lawyer to join its legal team in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will support the company’s Management Company and AIFM activities, ensuring compliance with the evolving regulatory landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advice for the business in Luxembourg.
• Review and draft fund launch documentation, including prospectuses, trust deeds and terms of business agreements.
• Draft, negotiate and finalize management company/AIFM agreements, investment management agreements and related contracts.
• Support directors and Conducting Officers on legal matters and regulatory filings.
• Assist business development, product development and special projects as required.
• Liaise with external counsel and client legal teams.
• Prepare and implement regulatory documents.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with 2‑3 years of experience in the funds industry.
• Good knowledge of laws and regulations affecting financial services and investment management, preferably UCITS and AIFMD.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic regulatory environment.
