Fund Events Consultant – FA/TA

About the role

Taleo Consulting is seeking a Fund Events Consultant (FA/TA) to join its Luxembourg office. You will be responsible for managing fund, umbrella and share class openings, as well as a wide range of structural changes throughout the fund lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and process fund, umbrella and share class openings, portfolio manager or management company changes, and ISIN creation requests.
• Manage lifecycle events such as liquidations, mergers, total redemptions, renamings and other structural modifications.
• Maintain operational calendars, perform multi‑level controls (4‑eyes and 6‑eyes), and execute monthly validation checks.
• Monitor dashboards tracking operational activities and control completion.
• Handle ad‑hoc queries from internal and external stakeholders, support audit requests, incident reporting and SAQ processes.
• Review and update operational procedures, runbooks and memoranda to improve control frameworks and data consistency.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in fund accounting operations with a focus on fund lifecycle and event management.
• Strong understanding of Luxembourg fund structures (UCITS/AIF) and share class set‑up.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to perform rigorous multi‑level controls.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
