Fund Accounting Team Lead (UCITS) – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Brown Brothers Harriman is seeking a Fund Accounting Team Lead (UCITS) on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role oversees a Net Asset Value (NAV) oversight team responsible for trades, cash, capital stock, expenses, European tax, audit and special handling. You will drive quality, control and client‑service standards while managing a moderate‑sized group of employees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the NAV oversight team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of fund accounting deliverables.
• Act as primary escalation point for client‑related issues, coordinating resolution and providing regular updates.
• Maintain and document procedures, checklists and best practices to mitigate risk.
• Establish service standards with client service groups and ensure they are communicated across internal teams.
• Collaborate with client teams to understand goals, service requirements and improve overall service quality.
• Supervise supervisors and promote a cohesive, high‑performing team environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fund accounting, preferably within UCITS structures.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with experience supervising a team.
• Excellent risk‑management mindset and ability to implement robust controls.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration.
• Ability to handle escalations and drive resolutions to client satisfaction.
