Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to lead the finance function of our Luxembourg holding entity. You will ensure accurate accounting, statutory compliance and support group finance across reporting, budgeting and M&A projects.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Luxembourg finance function, overseeing Luxembourg GAAP accounting.
• Prepare for conversion from French to Luxembourg holding and manage merger accounting.
• Coordinate work with EY Luxembourg and other consultants, ensuring alignment with corporate tax and treasury functions.
• Review and sign‑off monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, maintaining internal controls.
• Identify and implement statutory adjustments between US GAAP and Luxembourg GAAP.
• Manage preparation, approval and audit of Luxembourg statutory financial statements.
• Ensure timely tax compliance and regulatory filings in Luxembourg.
• Support Group Finance with reporting, budgeting and project cost tracking, acting as primary liaison.
• Participate in finance, legal and tax projects related to entity setup, restructuring and M&A.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent is a strong plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably Big 4.
• Experience in technology or digital marketing sectors is advantageous.
• Excellent written and spoken English; French or Spanish a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational and teamwork skills.
