Financial Analyst – EU Hardlines Finance

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Finance Analyst to join the FP&A team supporting the EU Hardlines Store Finance function. The role partners with finance and business teams to provide data‑driven insights that influence strategic decisions and drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly performance reviews, monthly P&L analysis and financial forecasts for product families.
• Support monthly/quarterly close activities, including documentation and coordination with retail, accounting and operations teams.
• Facilitate financial review meetings and collaborate with business managers to balance growth and profitability.
• Conduct ad‑hoc business analyses, build financial models and present recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and interpreting financial results.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage changing priorities.

Required skills

• Financial reporting tools such as Cognos and Redshift.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query).
• Data‑analytics platforms: Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau.
