Finance Manager – FP&A for AMXL

About the role

Join Amazon’s EU AMXL FP&A team as a Finance Manager and shape the financial future of the Heavy & Bulky delivery network. You will partner with finance, operations, retail and FBA leaders to provide strategic insights and drive accountability across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own the consolidation of EU AMXL financials and deliver compelling narratives to senior leadership.
• Lead all financial reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and actionable insights.
• Support weekly, monthly and quarterly finance reviews with strategic recommendations.
• Drive month‑end close processes in partnership with Accounting and cross‑functional teams.
• Establish and enhance controllership practices, internal controls, variance analysis and governance frameworks.
• Ensure data fidelity across reporting systems such as Cognos, Discovery, Redshift, PS Decks and Balto.
• Partner with product and BI teams to automate and scale financial reporting.
• Build robust finance processes and tools that support tactical and strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Experienced finance professional with a proven record of delivering results in ambiguous environments.
• Strong bias for action and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Excellent cross‑functional partnership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to own financial narratives and provide strategic insights.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Cognos.
• Experience using Discovery.
• Knowledge of Redshift.
• Familiarity with PS Decks.
• Experience with Balto.
• Financial modeling and variance analysis.
