Finance Intern

About the role

The Finance Intern will support the finance team at the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) by assisting with analytical and administrative tasks. This position offers a practical introduction to finance operations within an international defence organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in data collection, analysis and reporting for finance projects.
• Support the preparation of financial documents and presentations.
• Contribute to problem‑solving activities and process improvements.
• Collaborate with diverse internal groups to ensure timely delivery of tasks.

Required profile

• University degree (or final‑year studies) in Finance, Accounting, Management or Business Administration.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Positive “can‑do” attitude and effective time‑management skills.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and communicate in English (fluency required; French desirable).
• National of a NATO member country and able to obtain a NATO Secret security clearance.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
