Experienced Litigation & Dispute Resolution Lawyer

About the role

Arendt & Medernach is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its Litigation & Dispute Resolution team in Luxembourg. You will work alongside senior legal experts on a variety of civil and commercial matters, gaining exposure to complex cross‑border disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage civil and commercial litigation cases across multiple industries.
• Handle complex commercial and corporate disputes, including contractual, shareholder, investor, financial, and insolvency matters.
• Conduct recognition and enforcement actions, such as attachments, exequatur of foreign judgments, and arbitral awards.
• Represent clients in civil liability and insurance disputes, including professional liability, medical cases, major accidents, and personal injuries.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in civil law, preferably complemented by an LLM.
• Registered with the Luxembourg Bar as “Avocat à la Cour”.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in civil and commercial litigation in Luxembourg.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and a proactive, flexible attitude.
