Director, Private Equity Fund Services

About the role

We are seeking a Director to lead and expand the private equity fund services practice for a leading fund service provider in Luxembourg. The role combines client relationship management, business development, and oversight of accounting, reporting, and compliance delivery for private equity funds and SPVs.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain peer‑to‑peer relationships with new and existing clients.
• Originate, negotiate, and onboard private equity fund administration business.
• Provide strategic oversight, identify growth obstacles, and ensure staff retention.
• Plan and manage client deliverables, including accounting, reporting, company secretarial and compliance services.
• Maintain and standardise processes to guarantee high‑quality delivery and client satisfaction.
• Mentor and motivate a client‑servicing team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
• Act as director of funds and SPVs where appropriate.

Required profile

• Direct experience in client service within a professional services firm.
• Strong technical expertise in real‑estate fund accounting for Luxembourg funds and SPVs under Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
• Good understanding of the legal and regulatory framework for Luxembourg PFS, funds and SPVs.
• Proactive, problem‑solving attitude with excellent planning and deadline orientation.
• Effective communication skills and experience managing, mentoring and motivating teams.
• Self‑starter with a high degree of initiative.
• Fluent English; French and/or German are a plus.
