Director Europe Digital Asset Advisory

About the role

Provide expert, risk‑based support to business and functional teams on digital‑asset activities across Europe, ensuring consistent application of regulatory frameworks, policy integration and capability development within the CFCR Digital Asset Advisory hub.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain alignment with the CFCR hub to ensure consistent interpretation of regulatory requirements and policy intent.
• Lead or participate in cross‑CFCR calibration sessions, thematic reviews and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Document case precedents, lessons learned and contribute to the enterprise knowledge base.
• Design and deliver training modules on digital‑asset risk themes and CFCR products.
• Act as a key advocate for digital‑asset compliance, providing regulatory consultation, policy updates and framework roll‑outs.
• Support the design and review of controls, product approval processes and client‑lifecycle governance.
• Identify emerging risks, escalate complex scenarios and contribute to process optimisation and digital enablement of DA activities.

Required profile

• Strong experience and knowledge of regulatory change across Europe, particularly digital‑asset regulations and licensing requirements.
• Good understanding of Financial Crime, Compliance and Conduct policies, procedures and standards.
• Excellent professional English communication skills.
