Data Engineer – Luxembourg

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join ALTEN’s Luxembourg team, supporting a variety of client projects across sectors such as transport, energy, automotive, telecom and finance. The role focuses on building and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust ETL pipelines.
• Manage diverse data sources and storage solutions.
• Perform data engineering tasks, guaranteeing data quality and consistency.
• Contribute to backend and frontend development related to data services.
• Conduct data validation and integrate systems.
• Coordinate project tasks and workflows.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver data‑driven solutions.
• Analyse requirements and drive initiatives independently.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools and modern data ecosystems.
• Familiarity with contemporary data architectures.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English (minimum B2); French is a plus.
