Commercial Transactional Lawyer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Transactional Lawyer to join our team remotely, supporting a global organization from Luxembourg. The role involves providing strategic legal advice for complex commercial operations and ensuring contracts align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier, service, licensing, distribution, partnership, NDA and joint venture contracts.
• Provide legal guidance on commercial risks, contractual obligations and compliance under Australian law.
• Support corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and reorganisations through due diligence and documentation.
• Analyse business strategies from a legal perspective and deliver practical recommendations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of commercial legislation and contract law developments.
• Independently manage legal matters while ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational priorities.

Required profile

• LLB or equivalent law degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial transactions, corporate law or related field.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Australian contract law and commercial regulations.
• Proven experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Ability to assess legal risks and provide business‑focused advice.
