Commercial Talent Acquisition Manager

About the role

Paytm Europe is building a high‑performing merchant acquisition team across the continent. As the Commercial Talent Acquisition Manager you will design and scale the recruitment function that fuels rapid expansion, focusing on hiring top‑tier field sales representatives and establishing a dedicated Sales Academy.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable recruitment engine to support European growth.
• Create sustainable sourcing channels and talent pipelines in sectors such as retail, hospitality, telecommunications and education.
• Develop practical assessment tools including role‑plays, behavioural interviews, sales simulations and resilience tests.
• Launch and manage the Paytm Sales Academy, delivering onboarding, product, compliance and sales‑technique training.
• Lead employer‑branding initiatives and referral programmes to position Paytm Europe as a premier commercial employer.
• Track recruitment KPIs (time‑to‑hire, cost‑per‑hire, offer acceptance, retention, sales performance) and continuously improve processes using data.
• Contribute to building a high‑performance culture based on integrity, accountability, resilience and customer focus.

Required profile

• Background in commercial recruitment, retail, telecommunications, FMCG, hospitality or organisations with large field‑sales teams.
• Proven experience recruiting customer‑facing commercial employees at scale.
• Ability to identify resilient, coachable talent beyond traditional financial‑services sales profiles.
