Cocoa Beans Buyer

About the role

Based at Ferrero’s Luxembourg headquarters and reporting to the Raw Material Procurement Category Manager for Cocoa Beans, you will own the end‑to‑end operational process for purchasing and delivering cocoa beans. Your work will ensure a reliable supply of high‑quality beans, turning strategic category direction into concrete performance.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the cocoa beans category strategy into practical procurement plans that meet business needs.
• Support budgeting and medium‑term planning using market insights to protect availability, cost and risk.
• Negotiate contracts in line with Ferrero’s Code of Business Conduct, manage price lists, allocations and purchase orders.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, anticipate issues and ensure continuity of supply.
• Coordinate strategic stock and supply flow with S&OP, monitoring service, quality and inventory indicators.
• Integrate sustainability initiatives into daily decisions and support group‑wide cocoa projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, preferably with raw materials.
• Proven ability to negotiate, evaluate offers with clear criteria and communicate decisions effectively.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions while focusing on supply continuity and measurable results.
