Chief Financial Officer – Luxembourg Relocation

About the role

As CFO of Satispay Bank’s Luxembourg‑regulated entity, you will safeguard financial integrity, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive fiscal strategy for the European hub. This senior position requires relocation to Luxembourg and close collaboration with the Group Finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver statutory accounts, regulatory filings and Group consolidation data in line with Lux GAAP/IFRS.
• Manage liquidity risk, client fund protection and treasury activities, including cash forecasting and yield‑enhancement.
• Oversee capital adequacy, monitor market and liquidity exposures, and work with the CRO on risk oversight.
• Represent Satispay to regulators, tax authorities and external auditors, ensuring successful audit execution.
• Lead financial control, month‑end reporting, balance‑sheet integrity and performance reporting for local and Group stakeholders.
• Drive finance operations such as reconciliations, AP/AR and month‑end close, maintaining a strong control environment.
• Integrate local finance activities with Group CFO and finance teams for seamless reporting and planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of senior finance leadership in an EU financial hub, Luxembourg‑regulated payment institution, EMI or bank.
• Deep knowledge of CRR/CRD directives, CSSF requirements, Lux GAAP/IFRS and fit‑and‑proper eligibility.
• Proven track record in treasury, capital and liquidity management, statutory reporting and audit coordination.
• Fluent English communication skills.
