Capital Markets & Banking Associate (Lawyer)

About the role

Join a leading international law firm in Luxembourg as a Capital Markets & Banking Associate. You will work on high‑profile, cross‑border transactions for financial institutions, investment banks, funds, corporates, public entities and private equity firms.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate financing documentation and legal opinions across syndicated lending, real estate finance, acquisition finance, fund finance and debt restructuring.
• Manage and coordinate multiple workstreams within capital markets and lending transactions.
• Advise on securitisation, structured finance and debt capital markets transactions, including securities issuances and listing matters.
• Provide regulatory and compliance advice related to finance and capital markets.
• Participate in client meetings, business development presentations and legal publications.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law (LLM is a plus) and admission to a European or Luxembourg Bar.
• 1 to 4 years of post‑qualification experience in Luxembourg.
• Fluency in English; French and/or German are strong assets.
• Strong analytical, organisational and teamwork skills, with the ability to handle multiple files in a fast‑paced, international environment.
