Business Intelligence Engineer, Data and Analytics

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to design, build, and maintain reporting and analytics solutions for its European Supply Chain Transportation teams. You will translate business needs into technical deliverables, enabling project teams to gain actionable insights into operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Develop and integrate scalable BI and custom software solutions.
• Create test cases and guide stakeholders through testing.
• Present solutions and new features in weekly sync‑ups with business partners.
• Own maintenance, error handling, and ongoing support of deployed solutions.
• Deliver 1–2 major projects simultaneously while focusing on timely delivery.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing concepts, and Python.
• Ability to collaborate with functional teams across regions.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
