Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our Luxembourg operations. This hunter‑focused position will be the face of a global IT services provider in the Grand Duchy, responsible for opening new accounts and building a robust pipeline across key market segments.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new clients in banking, insurance, public sector, EU institutions and large corporates.
• Build, manage and convert a sales pipeline from lead generation through to contract signing.
• Develop trusted relationships with C‑level and IT decision‑makers, positioning a full portfolio of application, cloud, infrastructure, managed services and consulting offerings.
• Qualify opportunities, prepare compelling proposals and lead negotiations.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales, delivery and bid teams to shape solutions aligned with client needs.
• Represent the company at industry events and networking forums to strengthen market presence.
• Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue and new‑logo targets.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting in the CRM system.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven B2B IT services sales experience with a strong new‑business focus.
• Good knowledge of the Luxembourg market and an established network of decision‑makers (advantageous).
• Solid understanding of IT service offerings such as cloud, infrastructure, application and managed services.
• Hunter mindset: autonomous, tenacious and comfortable working to quantified targets.
• Strong negotiation, relationship‑building and consultative selling skills.
• Fluent in French and English; German and/or Luxembourgish a strong plus.
• Eligible to work in Luxembourg and hold a valid driving licence.
