Business Analyst

About the role

VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with the European Investment Bank, is looking for a Business Analyst to support digital transformation projects for large banking clients. You will work on analysing current processes, gathering requirements and ensuring smooth migration to new IT systems.

Key responsibilities

• Document current (As‑Is) processes and functionalities.
• Elicit, conceptualise and document business requirements for new IT developments, including reporting needs.
• Prepare and maintain project deliverables such as business cases, detailed requirements, test cases and related documentation.
• Create and update functional documentation, user manuals and other application‑related materials.
• Plan, execute and document testing phases for financial IT applications.
• Provide first‑level support for the ASApp application and deliver user training.
• Identify and implement measures to improve data quality.
• Manage change communications and foster user engagement through various channels.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in business analysis for IT projects in large banks, especially migration or integration projects.
• Proven ability to review As‑Is processes and design To‑Be processes.
• Experience in testing financial IT applications and data‑quality activities.
• Familiarity with advisory service lifecycles and requirements‑gathering techniques (UML).
• Strong English (C1) and optional French (B2) communication skills.
