Authorized Manager – Luxembourg

About the role

The Authorized Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the company in Luxembourg, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and efficient delivery of services across finance, technology, compliance and customer support.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all operational aspects, including finance, technology, compliance and customer services.
• Monitor daily payment flows, reconciliations and transaction processing.
• Lead, motivate and manage the executive team to meet performance targets.
• Act as primary liaison between the board, employees and external stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities, expand service offerings and maintain market competitiveness.
• Provide regular updates to the Board on performance, risks, regulatory compliance and strategic initiatives.
• Implement internal policies and procedures reflecting the Board’s strategic direction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in a managerial or directorial role.
• Minimum five years of experience in the payment or banking industry.
• Familiarity with PSD2, AMLD5/6 and other relevant EU financial regulations.
• Fluency in English; French or Chinese is an advantage.
• Based in Luxembourg.

Required skills

• Knowledge of PSD2 regulatory framework.
• Understanding of AMLD5 and AMLD6 requirements.
• Experience with EU financial compliance standards.
