Audit Senior – Wealth & Asset Management

About the role

EY is seeking a motivated Audit Senior to join its Assurance team focused on the investment fund industry. You will lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff while delivering high‑quality assurance across complex financial reporting environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform annual financial statement audits under Lux GAAP and IFRS.
• Lead, coordinate and develop a team of assistants to ensure effective audit execution.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with client personnel and assess client satisfaction.
• Apply deep accounting and auditing knowledge to real‑world client scenarios.
• Coordinate on‑site fieldwork, liaising with other departments for smooth delivery.
• Translate audit strategy into effective procedures and deliver assurance services efficiently.
• Utilise EY’s Global Audit Methodology and primary accounting frameworks to ensure compliance with auditing standards.
• Contribute to process, solution and project delivery, applying judgement and appropriate methodologies.
• Meet personal and team performance targets, manage risk and identify opportunities to enhance audit quality.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Audit, Accounting or Controlling; professional certification (ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
• 3–6 years of audit experience, preferably with Big 4 exposure.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Lux GAAP.
• Experience in financial reporting and investment‑fund environments.
• Fluent in English; German and/or French advantageous.
• Excellent communication, collaborative mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
