Audit Manager – Wealth & Asset Management

About the role

EY is seeking a motivated Audit Manager to join its Assurance team, focusing on wealth and asset management clients in the investment fund sector. You will lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and mentor junior staff while ensuring high‑quality delivery in complex financial reporting environments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute annual financial statement audits under IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP.
• Lead, coordinate, and develop a team of assistants to ensure effective audit execution.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with client personnel and monitor client satisfaction.
• Apply deep accounting and auditing knowledge to real‑world client scenarios.
• Coordinate on‑site fieldwork and liaise with internal departments for smooth delivery.
• Translate audit strategy into effective procedures using EY’s Global Audit Methodology.
• Contribute to process improvements, risk assessment, and value‑creation initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
• At least 6 years of audit experience; Big 4 experience is an asset.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German and/or French are strong advantages.
• Excellent communication, collaborative mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
