Audit Manager – Commercial, Industrial & Public Sector

About the role

KPMG Luxembourg is looking for an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit and consolidation engagements for commercial, industrial and public‑sector clients. You will work in a multicultural, international environment and act as a key liaison between clients and the audit team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee audit engagements for international groups across sectors such as Consumer & Retail, Industrial Markets, Infrastructure, Healthcare, and Technology.
• Lead end‑to‑end consolidation engagements, preparing group financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Coordinate with client finance teams, component auditors and internal specialists to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
• Coach and review work of seniors and staff, ensuring compliance with ISA, Big 4 methodology and Luxembourg regulations.
• Control budgets, timelines and resources, anticipate risks and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Support business development, proposal writing and identification of new service opportunities.
• Promote continuous improvement of audit quality, digital audit tools and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• Several years of external audit experience, including consolidated audits in an international setting.
• Professional qualification or progress towards Réviseur d’Entreprises, Wirtschaftsprüfer, ACCA or CPA.
• Strong technical expertise in audit and consolidation under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Client‑focused, delivery‑oriented and able to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
