Audit Manager - Commercial, Industrial, Public Sector

About the role

KPMG Luxembourg is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead audit and consolidation engagements for commercial, industrial and public‑sector clients. You will work in a multicultural, international environment and collaborate with professionals across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end audit engagements for international groups and large entities across multiple sectors.
• Oversee consolidation engagements, including planning, execution, review and finalisation of group financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Serve as primary client contact, coordinating with group finance teams, component auditors and internal specialists.
• Lead, coach and review work of engagement teams, ensuring compliance with ISA, Big 4 methodology and Luxembourg regulations.
• Control budgets, timelines and resources, anticipate risks and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Contribute to business development, proposal writing and identification of new service opportunities.
• Support continuous improvement of audit quality, digital audit tools and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• Several years of external audit experience, including consolidated audits in an international setting.
• Professional qualification or progress towards Réviseur d’Entreprises, Wirtschaftsprüfer (WP), ACCA or CPA.
• Strong technical expertise in audit and group consolidation under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Client‑focused, delivery‑oriented and able to manage multiple engagements and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership and coaching abilities.
