Associate – Dispute Resolution (Mid‑Level)

About the role

CMS Luxembourg is expanding its Dispute Resolution team and seeks a mid‑level Associate to advise clients on commercial litigation matters. The role involves handling insolvency‑related disputes, corporate conflicts, and financial sector litigation while contributing to the practice’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal analysis and recommendations on commercial litigation cases, including insolvency, corporate, and financial sector disputes.
• Draft pleadings, memoranda, legal opinions, and contracts based on thorough research.
• Represent clients before courts and tribunals.
• Support the employment law team on litigation matters when required.
• Participate in business development and practice development activities.

Required profile

• University degree in law.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in dispute resolution within a Luxembourg‑based law firm.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, analytical, and summarising abilities.
• Professional, dynamic, open‑minded, and team‑oriented.
• High sense of responsibility, initiative, and organisational skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and French; German and/or Luxembourgish are assets.
