Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Fund Accounting will act as the primary technical expert for complex fund accounting services, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and compliance with accounting standards. You will lead technical decisions, drive process innovations, and serve as the go‑to subject matter expert for sophisticated client portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical authority on complex accounting matters and guide the team.
• Perform final reviews of sophisticated accounting deliverables to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and implement best practices, standards, and methodologies for fund accounting.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
• Offer technical guidance, training, and stakeholder support for client‑specific and fund segment issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience, with at least 4 years in fund accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling complex portfolios and advanced accounting modules.
• Subject‑matter expert in technical accounting with strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to lead technical decisions and mentor junior team members.
